How the PTO helps our Students and School

 

We are a large school with so many great things going on. Our PTO is here to assist in providing an atmosphere for learning and a sense of community.

The following are some of the items we have provided on an annual basis:

  • A book for each student at the Fall Book Fair ($8 certificate per student)

  • Student Planners and folders

  • Sponsorship of Kindergarten orientation

  • Recorders for 3rd Graders

  • 5th Grade picnic and T-shirts

  • 5th grade safety trip
  • Kindergarten pumpkin patch

  • Staff Appreciation Week

  • High School Scholarships for former Hooper Students

  • School Assemblies and Special Programs

  • Lunch with the Principal

Special support has been given to many school projects over the years such as:

  • New Furniture

  • Chrome Books, Charging Stations and Carts 

  • Scooters and Furniture for Special Ed Students/Classroom 2017

  • Kindergarten playground 

  • LCD Projectors

  • Tinting of windows to provide a secure and comfortable school

  • Stage and Gym curtains

  • New digital school sign
